This caused collission, airbags to deploy and car is totaled. Driver and passenger were injured due to crash and air bag deployment. On the day of crash I received a warning in my app requesting I have my abs checked at dealer because abs brakes might not function properly from Nissan.

Nissan has a known “glass blowing up” issue. Yesterday I was a victim to this. I am a new mom, thank god my baby was not with me. On Monday May 4th 2026 I went to get into my car at 1:30pm started the car and heard what I thought was chains and the next thing I knew my rear window exploded! There wasn't any bebe shots or rocks nothing!! It scared me to death!! I called my Auto insurance and the connected me to Safe lite auto cost 480.00 to replace the window!!

On March 25th the dealership said our car was on a recall for R25E2 the dealership performed the ECM software update fix at this time. On April 30th 2026 the engine suffered catastophic failure. The heat stopped working the car was not showing hot the dial was at 1/4 it is usually at 1/2. The oil light flashed my husband lost power steering and it died at a 4 way stop. There was so much white smoke coming out the tailpipe he thought it was going to catch fire. The dealership is saying the car is not under the recall because they "fixed" the software. There were no warning lights or anything the only warning was the heat not working. He only made it 8 miles past out house before this happened. The software failed to protect the hardware from the safety defect. The dealership said the head gasket blew from overheating but they are saying it is not the recall they dont know the reason even though my husband and I have stated our car was affected by this recall or they would not have completed the ECM software update which clearly is a failed remedy. January of 2026 The front radar sensor bracket is deformed/bent causing forward collision avoidance system to completley fail. Despite no impact damage to the front bumper, the dealer and third party warranty are denying the claim as an accident. This failure occured during the january ice storm in Georgia Nissan TSB NTB23-011C identifies ice build up behind the fascia as a cause for bracket deformation. This is a known design flasw that disables the safety systems including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, forward collison warning and automatic emergency braking. My car only has 46,000 miles all of these systems should not be failing.

I am reporting an issue related to a safety recall involving the electronic throttle system on my 2025 Nissan. I scheduled two separate service appointments with Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa (San Diego, CA) to have this recall addressed, and in both cases, the dealership failed to inspect or service the vehicle on the scheduled day. First appointment – March 6 at 8:45 AM: I dropped off my vehicle at the scheduled time and left it at the dealership for the entire day. I arranged transportation home at my own expense. At approximately 4:00 PM—over 7 hours later—I was contacted and informed that the dealership’s computers were down and that my vehicle had not been inspected at all. I am unsure exactly what happened, I was driving and heard a pop look up and rear windshield was shattered, no impact, crash, and/or hit with an object. Car was parked in indoor parking garage, I Opened driver’s door and heard a crash. The rear window had shattered. Luckily I was not driving at the time, this could have potentially caused a very dangerous situation. Nissan consumer affairs stated no recall and refused to cover the repair.

I rented this vehicle from Hertz Rental Car in December. It was a replacement for the Nissan Sentra I rented that had a passenger door that kept getting stuck due to the door panel being loose. On December 23, 2025, I called roadside and told them that the tire light was on,n and I had to put air in the car to fix a flat and get home. I was told by the roadside that because I didn't purchase roadside through them, I would be charged. I explained to the man that all four tires were bald. He told me it couldn't be authorized. I ended up using my aAAAtwice. I was told by them and the emergency mobile tire repair people that the tires were no good. I had to drive on those tires through the rain and snow with my children. I couldn've hydroplaned or hit someone. They did put an inspection hold on the vehicle, but nobody checked; they just asked me if I got it fixed and continued to rent it out to me. I spoke with the manager of the location who previously told me that I may be charged for the tire because I didn't have roadside assistance and he said he charged the madison heights location for it. So that's proof I was not at fault and paid over a thousand dollars for a vehicle that was not safe for the road.

Vehicle was on a slight incline. Shifted into park. Vehicle was running and I went and got into the passenger side, waiting for my daughter to come out of work and drive home. Vehicle evidently came out of the park gear and rolled approximately 100' backwards into another vehicle parked behind me on the same incline.

Back glass completely shattered while driving around 65 MPH down the road. Had been driving for around 1 hr prior and weather was a consistent 30 degrees. No objects hit the glass and then it sounded like a loud explosion. I had a service inspection on February 20, 2026 where no issues were stated. No warnings appeared prior to this incident.

If this had happened while operating the vehicle, there would have been a high risk of injury to myself, other occupants, or other vehicles on the road. This has not yet been confirmed by Nissan, but there have been other reports and a lawsuit filed by other owners. This incident has not been inspected, as windshield replacement is fully covered by my state, it was not caused by collision or vandalism, and I need to get it repaired quickly in order to commute to work. There were no warning notifications prior to the failure.

I went to start the car. Got out and shut the drivers door and the rear windshield shattered and fell in. There were no cracks or chips in the window before. Broken glass shards got all in my 7 month olds extra car seat that we use for a stroller. An inspector from Nissan affairs is coming March 10 to the Brandon Nissan dealer in Florida to see what he can find going on with the car .

The back window on our 2025 rogue shattered an explored to today February 15, 2026, Safety was compromised by not being able to see out of back window. There is no back window to reproduced. No warning just happen. After being parked.

While driving at 45 MPH with my wife in the front passenger seat, on a two lane road (one way each direction) in Wake Forest NC, no cars were in the front or rear of my vehicle , sunny clear weather, the following happened: Driving normally, then all of a sudden, the car proceeds to, what felt like emergency braking and then a split second, the dashboard signals come on , different symbols, then a red image appears on the dashboard (for a split second) then it brakes hard a second time (within a split second) then everything clears and the car proceeds to drive normally. The braking action felt like a severe brake pulsing, then a split second release and then another spilt second brake pulsing and then everything cleared and the car continued to drive normally. The braking was so severe, my wife and I lurched forward towards the windshield, held back by our seat belts. The braking occurred suddenly with nothing near the vehicle. The emergency braking came in the first pulse, then followed by a extremely brief release(split second) then another quick emergency braking action(split second), then multiple lights and warnings quickly appeared on the dash board ending with a split second red symbol (so brief i could not determine any of the warnings or lights). Then the car drove normally after that. If any vehicle had been behind us, a rear accident collision could have taken place. This happened on Saturday, February 14th at approximately 2:30pm on Forestville Road, in Wake Forest, NC. This was an extremely dangerous situation. As this is now a Sunday, the Nissan dealer will be contacted tomorrow and arrangements will be made to bring the vehicle in for an inspection ASAP. I feel the vehicle is unsafe to drive at this point in time.

I went out and got in my 2025 Nissan Roque in the garage. I opened the driver's side door, got in, closed the door and heard a loud explosion. My back window completely blew out! It was frightening! Glass is all over inside the back of my car and behind it. I'm thankful no one was in that whole area! I called my insurance that day and they contacted SAFELITE immediately and set up and appointment to have them come and replace it here in my garage, although it has taken 6 days. 6 days without a vehicle! I have since learned there is Class Action Law Suit on this ongoing matter.

There was no warning. Something needs to be done to cure this situation. Our vehicle is brand new - we have owned it for less than a year.

The front camera and sensors are constantly popping up that they are disabled. The front sensor failed to indicate warning and failed emergency brake. Car should have stopped but I stead it hit the car in front. Sensors, and other electrical services are constantly disabling themselves, or failing to work. What is the point of safety features if they constantly fail.

I bought my Rogue August 2025, brand new. I am at home and my rear windshield has just busted out for no reason. It is 38 degrees today outside. I have not moved my vehicle at all today. For no reason, just sitting in driveway, it has busted. I looked up and it looks as if other Rogues are doing this. This is very dangerous. What if I had been driving the vehicle.

My car was sitting in the parking lot at work and the back glass shattered. I called the dealer to see if it was under warranty and they told me no. I called my insurance and they are trying to get it replaced. I put crash wrap on it so I can drive it. I can't see out the back now.

Rear windshield exploded without anything to promote this. There was not any rocks or pebbles that hit it, the glass just shattered.

My vehicle had been parked in my driveway for approximately one hour. When I entered the car and closed the door, I immediately heard a shattering sound. The vehicle was not running at the time, and there was no impact or external force involved. The rear window shattered suddenly and without warning. I am thankful this did not occur while I was driving, as it presents a serious safety concern that could have caused an accident. There were no prior signs or indications that this would happen. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

The rear camera goes out/ screen flickers and turns black for a period when in reverse. It doesn’t happen every time but it happens often and at different times of day or different weather/ temperatures. I have not been able to determine associated factors ( humidity, temperature, etc). It does seem to be more frequent when first starting car after awhile (a few hours) but not always the case. I have brought in to Nissan but it hasn’t been duplicated in their presence yet. It happens about every third to fourth time of driving it. So that is frequent in my opinion.

Took my car in for some minor hood issues the week after buying it. While there the dealership pulled it out of the shop, parked it in the lot with the other vehicles they had worked on. On 12/5/25 my rear window just shattered right after the back hatch closed! I had it repaired myself because Matt Black Nissan said it wasn’t covered by my warranty. I paid Safelite $508.94 for the repair. I still had to take it to a dealer because there was some glass pieces left in the door and it was causing my locks to lock and unlock continuously. While I was waiting for my Rogue to be fixed I was talking to a man waiting for his vehicle and he told me this is happening to other vehicles where the back window just shatters. I did go online after this and have seen multiple other complaints about this issue. They need to recall this back hatch and fix the issue.

I was driving and hit a small bump in the road and my back glass exploded it was so loud I almost wrecked my car. I called nissan and they told me to bring it in and they would replace it they did it with no questions so it raised a red flag then I googled and found it is happening to alot of owners of nissan rouge 2022-2025. Attempted to remote start several and car didn't start. Previous remote starts worked every time. Entered car and when I closed door back window blow out.

While nissan Rogue 2025 was sitting in my driveway with car running and loading my car to leave for work on 11/27/25 , the rear windshield spontaneously crackled and shattered from one corner to the other after closing a side door . Glass was everyplace in my vehicle my driveway and down into the rear hatch frame. Nissan dealership and nissan corporate took no responsibility for the defect , called all multiple times and went to dealership and the repair area. I had to put it through my auto insurance. Glass was on back order took close to two weeks to repair. I now hear glass shards sliding around in my rear hatch door and yesterday the lock wouldn't open properly for multiple attempts , finally opened. I hear people are having issue with the glass shards interfering with the locking mechanism now. Nissan must own up to this defect. Car was only 5 months old.

I had driven the vehicle earlier that day to work, and used the rear window defrost, which I manually turned off after about 5 minutes and the rear windshield was fine. I Parked the car in the parking lot at about 10:15 AM at work, and returned at a little after 7 PM at which time I started the car to leave, and the window shattered. I immediately inspected the window,,the back compartment and the surrounding area at the back of the vehicle to see if something had hit the window, there was nothing there. There was no warning lights, the temperature was in the 70's (I live in Florida) and I saw no type of external element that caused the window to break. My insurance had the rear window replaced, the glass technician said it possibly had something to do with the heating element that could have made the glass implode.

On November 18, 2025, I switched on my rear window defogger. 15 minutes later I drove the vehicle into my garage, switched the defogger off, and turned the engine off. The following morning I entered the vehicle. When I closed the driver's side door gently, I heard a very loud noise. I looked into my rear-view mirror and saw that the rear window had shattered completely. A few days later I had the window replaced by Safelite. On Dec. 29, 2025 the rear window was inspected by Premier Nissan in Uniontown, Pa. (15401). This spontaneous incident could have had serious implications if there had been rear seat passengers. I believe that a defect exists with the rear window design or factory installation. Therefore, a re-call is advisable.

The automatic liftgate will close on you when you’re not expecting it. This is caused us to hit our head, at least three times while trying to remove items from the back of the Nissan Rogue. On the most recent incident resulted in a concussion. As I was putting a suitcase into the back of the car, it began to shut, causing me to hit the top of my head and blackout.

When I gently closed the door, a chunk of shattered glass fell in the cargo area. More fell inside today, still parked in the garage. I bought it in Feb 2025, it has around 5,000 miles. I spoke to the dealership today and explained what occurred. The response, which I will quote, “That just wouldn’t happen.” I reported it to my insurance. I have no other vehicle and need this fixed this week so I’m paying the $500 deductible. There was no prior damage to the windshield. The car had not been driven for 3 days. I did take a video and photos.

While eating dinner, rear back glass shattered last night for absolutely no reason. Walked out of dinner and it was shattered. Police report was filed and taken to local Nissan dealership.

The rear windshield shattered while driving. I was driving car in the evening at 30 mph, heard a “pop” and the back window glass cracked in to tiny pieces. Once I pulled over to examine the damage the center of the glass fell out of the window completely. On Dec 3, 2025,I drove my 2025 Nissan Rogue to my workplace as usual. It is new vehicle with about 2000 miles on it. The vehicle was parked in the employee parking lot, which is an open, uncovered area but not a location where projectiles or falling objects are present. The car remained stationary in this parking area until the incident occurred. When I returned to the vehicle, I closed the front driver-side door normally, using the same routine pressure I use every day. Immediately upon closing the door, the rear liftgate glass suddenly shattered without warning. The entire rear windshield broke into pieces at that moment. Most of the broken glass fell outside the vehicle, and the remaining fragments were found around the liftgate area. There was no evidence of any impact, no prior cracks or chips, and no external object struck the vehicle. The shattering occurred instantaneously and solely due to the act of closing the front door, which should not cause a rear windshield to fail. This appears to be a spontaneous structural failure of the rear glass, with no external cause. It could be a hazard to the people inside the car as well as outside. I reported that to Nissan who said that they were unaware of the issue. However this is widely known on even Google that the glass of 2024 and 2025 Nissan breaks spontaneously

I got in the car and before even starting the car the window on the hatch exploded. It is shattered and I am glad my child was not in the back seat.

I was using the snow mode because there was a little bit of snow and ice on the road. I had been driving it that morning and did not have a problem until I turned in to my street. I turned right and the steering and brakes and accelerator all locked, leaving me where my car slid across the road and the left drivers side tire ran over the curb. I was not able to correct anything as everything locked. Even though I am okay and was going less than 5 mph while turning. I feel like the whole car's function to lock is unsafe as it left me to hope the curb would stop it. The car had to get towed and is now in the shop with $4,000 of damage to that tire and tire rods which I feel like could not have been prevented considering everything was locked and did not allow me to correct properly.

On November 17, my 2025 Nissan Rogue caught fire after my hour commute to work. During my commute, there were no warning signs on the dash for the entire duration. Got to the office, parked the vehicle, and within a few minutes a coworker called me to let me know the car was up in flames. The fire quickly intensified and got hot enough to melt the hood, and made its way into the interior after it shattered the windshield. The fire started in the engine compartment, near the battery. The insurance company has a fire investigator attempting to determine the cause of the fire. The car had approximately 12,000 miles.

There was a cold snap and I was using the defrost and had just turned it off when it shattered. Looked it up and this appears to be happening to many other owners as well. It appears to be some sort of defect. There was an issue with Hondas last year the same thing happening and it had something to do with the defrost elements coming in contact with the rear windshield. Rear Trunk - Under bumper Hands free feature closes on head and/or Body while loading or unloading items. Head several times and body once while bent into trunk space. Called Nissan Corporate Office to report and told to call dealer and have service check sensor. Appointment Saturday 11/22/2025 at Nissan of Torrance. Results = Unable to disable. Part 988 tested ok at this time. SAFETY HAZARD that can cause painful/harm to body of myself/child/pets/others and creates fear/anxiety when it closes on to head and/or body.

I was driving in Chatham, IL at 40 mph when I heard a loud pop, like a balloon burst, then crinkling noises. The panoramic sunroof had exploded & shattered for no known reason. Numerous tiny shards of glass rained down on the backseat, which could have caused injuries if anyone were sitting in the rear seat. On Thursday November 13th, 2025, I drove to work like I do every day. When I got to work and parked, the REAR windshield cracked all on its own. It was not freezing, nor were there any large temperature swings to cause this. Today (Wed Nov 19th, 2025) the Safelite repair man came to replace it. He stated that he sees this quite often with the Nissan Rogue. I called Nissan and they said that they never have heard of this (as i would expect them to say). I would like this investigated as there was nothing done to cause this - no rocks, etc.

The driver seat in the 2025 Nissan Rogue is extremely narrow and places excessive pressure on my left hip, causing bruising, severe discomfort, and lower back pain after short driving periods. The seat forces my body into an unnatural posture that affects my ability to sit upright and operate the vehicle safely. After I reported the issue to the dealership, I was told to “keep driving until the seat flattens out” or “have a heavy-set person sit in the seat,” which are not safe or reasonable solutions. The seat design is causing physical injury and makes safe driving difficult.

I purchased a 2025 Nissan Rouge Rock Creek in March. Yesterday I got in my car, shut the door and the back door window shatters. No reason what so ever. it was 70* the day before and got down to the 40s overnight. There was no damage on car prior, Its a new car. Great condition. I reported the problem to the dealer and they told me it would be $1000 to fix.they do not cover glass. I noticed online others are having the same issue going on with the 2025 rouge rock creek edition as well as other 2025 rouges. Safety is at risk to anyone in or around the car as the glass can shatter at any given moment. I contacted the dealer along with nissan corporate to put in a claim report. They are not covering the cost at this point.

Safelite came to my home yesterday to replace the rear windshield, and during the appointment we discovered that the liftgate will not open. I attempted every method of opening it: the button on the dashboard, the key fob, the hands-free foot sensor, and even attempting to manually release it. Nothing worked. The technician advised me to take the vehicle to the dealership. Later that afternoon, I brought the vehicle to Wally’s Nissan in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The technicians attempted the same methods I did, including trying to manually open and pry the liftgate. Despite this, the liftgate would not release, and the attempts to access it are resulting in damage to the interior of my brand-new vehicle. I am extremely unhappy with the situation and the condition in which my vehicle is being left. Based on what I have researched, it appears that a piece of shattered glass may be lodged in the latch mechanism, preventing the liftgate from opening. The dealership informed me that they do not know how to proceed and essentially sent me away without a resolution and just blaming the door actuator. At this time, I cannot have the rear windshield replaced because the liftgate cannot be opened. We are approaching winter weather, temperatures are dropping, and I commute an hour to work every day. I cannot be left with a vehicle I just purchased that has no functional liftgate and no rear window, with no guidance or support from the dealership. I am requesting immediate assistance and direction, as this situation is unacceptable. I should not be told “there is nothing we can do”

The sunroof on our car literally combusted on me and my wife while we were driving on the road. There was no sound of impact nor is there any sign of debris in our car. The glass simply shattered into our car spreading shards and micro glass all over the place. Again, there was no sign of debris in the car nor any sound of impact. This must be a defect especially since this seems to be particularly common with Nissan models

Owner of 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek. On 11/03/2025 3pm temperature 45-47 degrees. Car was parked and all of a sudden rear window exploded. I called the dealer and told them they said they had nothing on recalls of defect. I did make a claim with my insurance Geico and did report it to Nissan also Case# 55966563. Upon online research there is multiples of incidents with the sale exploding issue on various years but all same model: Rogue.

On saturday, november first I was driving down the road about sixty five miles per hour.No one around me and nothing on the road.And all of a sudden, my back glass shattered.

Only a few weeks after purchasing my brand new vehicle, the airbag warning light appeared. When I brought it in February, I was told a part was on backorder for about 4-6 weeks and, quite concerningly, advised to “not hit anything” in the meantime. At that point, I was not made aware that this meant the airbag system was disabled and that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. For months — and through multiple service visits and oil changes — no one at the dealership informed me of the continued safety risk or provided updates unless I reached out myself. It was not until July, after repeatedly escalating the issue and emailing Service Manager Ryan Hernandez, that I was finally provided a loaner vehicle, upon my request. Even then, the experience was disorganized, impersonal, and dismissive, especially given the nature of the safety defect. While I understand that the airbag part is on national backorder and some delays are out of peoples control, the fact remains: I purchased a new vehicle that was unsafe from the start, and Nissan — both at the corporate and dealership levels — has failed to address the issue in a reasonable timeframe. As of October 27th, I have spoken with the general manager, Josh Ingrim, about this matter for the FIRST time, because I was told service employees and by previous management in the service department that they would be expediting my situation. It has been 10 months since I’ve bought my car with no clear eta on my car repair or a an attempt to make right of the situation. The manager claims to have been in contact with consumer affairs and fixed operations manager but have not heard back.

On October 20, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., my 2025 Nissan Rogue was parked in a public parking lot for several hours. When I started the engine, I heard a sudden loud pop, and the rear windshield immediately imploded, scattering glass both inside and outside the vehicle. There were no signs of impact, vandalism, or prior damage, and no hazards in the surrounding area. The vehicle’s climate control was set to “Auto” at 70°F, and the rear defroster was not on. This appears to have been a spontaneous glass failure, similar to other reports from Rogue owners. The incident created a serious safety concern due to the sudden explosion of tempered glass, which could easily cause driver or passenger injury, distraction while operating the vehicle, or potential loss of visibility if it had occurred while driving. The rear hatch now lacks structural integrity and requires full replacement. I am filing this report to document the defect and ensure this issue is investigated further for potential manufacturing or thermal-stress flaws in the rear glass assembly.

On Oct 15th, 2025 in the afternoon my vehicle was parked at my work and back hatch windshield complete shattered. Many other vehicles parked in the same parking lot. No signs of any foul play. Called State Farm insurance and they called the auto glass repair shop to file a claim and have fixed.This could have been tragic if would have been driving possibly. Seems many other owners of Nissan Rouge other year/model are having the same issue. Dealer is being contacted as well. The vehicle was bought brand new approx. 3 months ago in July 2025. No warning of any thing wrong with hatch/windshield. Vehicle may be looked at for inspection but it is to be fixed Oct 16th 2025. Pictures were taken and documented

Our car is currently at the dealership again, (2nd time) for this particular issue that we feel is a safety issue. We are still experiencing an issue with the lift gate. It is coming down at random times, often coming down on us. The sensor always beeps (so far) so you have a very short warning before it comes down on you. However, when it comes down, it takes alot to stop it (force). Even though it meets resistance with putting up our hands to stop it, it takes quite a bit to make it halt. It has also come down with my back to the car, with no motion under the sensor (no feet under the car to trigger the sensor). I do not have a video of it however I do have someone who witnessed it. We are not sure if this is related to the other electrical issues we are having. We've been experiencing issues with it being hard to start, the complete computer screen going blank (on video) or car changes randomly the temperature and shuts down the radio randomly. We were told yesterday that they were able to duplicate the issue and acknowledged that the gate came down "hard" not fast, but does not respond quickly when coming against opposing pressure. However, today we were contacted and told that Nissan wanted them to test other cars on the lot for the same issue, and now they are telling us that those cars respond the same way ours does, (very sensitive- she did not mention anything about them coming down hard.) However, the loaner car they gave us was also a 2025 Nissan Rouge and we have NOT had that issue with it. The hatch opens and closes without issue. The computer has not malfunctioned or completely went blank. It has not been hard to start, nor has the computer malfunctioned-shutting the radio off or changing the temperature information. It was recommended that maybe to "shut off" the lift gate and raise it by hand. However, we find it a little "rich" of the dealership to even "go there" as the car is 10 months old! We would like it to be fixed.

After returning home and parking, I heard a loud pop and saw that the entire rear hatch window was shattered. I called my husband outside, and we documented the damage with photos and video. When I closed the door, the shattered glass collapsed inward into the cargo area, with shards also scattered across the driveway. There was no external strike point, debris, or prior damage to the glass. The breakage was spontaneous and created a safety hazard by leaving sharp tempered fragments inside the vehicle and an open rear hatch. Other 2025 Rogue owners have reported the same failure, suggesting a recurring defect.

Rear window exploded and broke without any cause and I have to replace through Safelite. Not due to vandalism or any other means

I purchased my 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek Edition 5 months ago. The car was sitting in my driveway and the back glass shattered. I was home, no one was around. Warranty doesn't cover glass, so I had to pay out of pocket up to my $500 deductible with insurance. There were no cracks prior to this happening.

I've only had my 2025 Rock Creek Rogue for 4 months. The back windshield all of a sudden shattered. I'm seeing a lot of customers complaining about the same issue. It's evident there's a defect in the glass,that's causing the glass to shatter and it needs to be addressed. I shouldn't have to come out of my pocket for a $500 deductible to pay for a windshield that's well known for having a problem. There should be a recall for this windshield. .

After hitting the button to close my back hatch, my boyfriend noticed that the window was cracking from the upper left corner. When nearly fully closed, the window spontaneously shattered.

I bought Nissan Rouge 2025 and just after 234 miles warning light "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced Service Now" came on. I took it to dealership, and they checked and said nothing was wrong with the car. I was glad that nothing was wrong with my car. Same warning message light "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced Service Now" came back again at odometer reading of 569 miles. This time car started jerking, shaking, automatic accelerating for a while and then started working back on normal. I took it back to dealership. This time they replaced Engine control Module. They gave car with this assurance that all problems are fixed. I was glad to start driving my brand-new car again with only 569 miles on odometer. But just after driving 300 more-mile same warning message "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced Service Now" light came back on with same jerking and automatic acceleration for a while. I parked car and took it back to dealership. It's been with them for over a week now with odometer reading 872 miles. "Engine Malfunction Power Reduced Service Now" warning light comes at random and once you park car it goes away. But when light is on car jerks, shakes and it makes driving person very concerned and worried

My back rear window basically shattered while it was just sitting. There was nothing that hit it. I had just driven it to. work and had the rear defrost on while I was driving. A little while after I arrived at work the window just sounded like it exploded.

I'm unable to drive it because glass keeps falling everywhere. Nissan warranty doesn't cover windows even though there are multiple incidents of this same thing happening. There is no way to prove it is a manufacturer defect. If I took it to the dealership to access the damage there would be no window left and it is unsafe to drive. The dealership doesn't even replace windows so I have to pay out of pocket to fix it. There were no cracks or chips before it happened and it is not covered in bumper to bumper warranty even though it is only 4 months old.

While driving on the highway, I pressed the rear defrost button for the first time since purchasing the car last April due to a foggy rear window. Shortly after, I noticed through the rearview mirror that the rear gate window had shattered, even though nothing had struck it. When I arrived at work and exited the car, the rear window suddenly broke apart completely, leaving a large hole as if the glass had exploded.

After my car being parked for 5 hours I opened my car door and before even shutting my door and starting my car my rear view windshield shattered to pieces, no forced trauma , literal shatter .

The vehicle had been parked for 10 hours while I was at work. I got in the vehicle and shut the door and the back glass shattered. I had security pull up the camera footage of the area my vehicle was parked and no one tampered with it.

The rear window shattered spontaneously with explosive force and sound while I was driving and parking it in the subsurface garage of my condominium complex, with my wife as a passenger. I can only surmise that substandard safety glass, combined with unusually high outside temperatures and extremely effective interior air conditioning was involved in the physics of the explosion. The incident was unprecedented in my 67 years of driving. The incident was preceded by intermittent and inexplicable hissing sounds for several miles before I entered my parking garage and parked the vehicle. No external projectile or impact was involved.

I got into my car and closed the door and pushed the start button and my back window blew out. It was not hit by anything and sitting in front of my office and had not driven all day since I got there.

At intersection car started rattling when I accelerated and would barely go and engine light came on. Had to be towed to dealer. They are saying it is just a coil. It had been smelling like burnt rubber. Only has 1509 miles. I am afraid it is more than what they are saying due to the description of the engine recalls coming

Went to leave the house and noticed the rear windshield was shattered. Holes on either side of the windshield. With glass on the outside of the vehicle, as if the windshield had exploded outward.

I purchased a brand new 2025 Nissan Rogue on June 4, 2025, with the expectation that its ProPILOT and Safety Assist features would function reliably under normal driving conditions. However, just three days after purchase, a warning light began appearing that reads: “Warning: Driving Aids Temporarily Limited.” This message occurs randomly and under regular driving conditions, without provocation, and causes the ProPILOT/Safety Assist systems to disable themselves entirely. At the time this first occurred, the vehicle had only been driven a few miles and had been kept in clean, well-maintained condition. I contacted the dealership immediately and scheduled a service appointment for June 16, 2025. In the days leading up to that appointment, the issue continued to occur unpredictably, making the driving experience both frustrating and unsafe. The vehicle has now been in the dealership’s possession for multiple days (as of June 18, 2025), and no resolution has been found. The technicians have not been able to diagnose or correct the issue, and I have been left without a functioning vehicle. This problem was not disclosed prior to purchase, and the repeated system failure of essential safety features is unacceptable, especially on a brand new car. The inclusion of advanced driver assistance was a primary factor in my decision to purchase this vehicle. Having these systems work only intermittently presents a significant safety risk to myself and others on the road, and undermines the integrity of the vehicle's advertised capabilities. I am filing this formal complaint to document the issue and request prompt action and resolution from Nissan Consumer Affairs and NHTSA.

The dealership of Royal Nissan in Baton Rouge took two and a half hours to do an oil change. When I asked them why they said it was a known problem that my vehicles engine oil plug would strip if they tried to drain it that way and that it had to be pumped from the top. The service technician admitted that this was a known problem in the plastic oil pan.

I took ownership of this vehicle on December 11, 2024. Here are some of the problems I've encountered with this 2025 Nissan Rogue SL model: (1)Blind Spot, lane departure has been malfunctioning as of 12-11-2024. (2)The seat belt symbol started malfunctioning a few days later. The red seat belt sign on the dashboard remains on for an extended period. (3)The AM/ FM radio was working for a short time then off and on. Whenever the AM/FM radio goes out, Sirius XM radio remain strong. I brought the SUV back to the leasing company twice after which they programmed and reset the radio and the safety features. It seemed to work for a day. I called the leasing company and they said that I should take the Rogue to one of Nissan's service departments for a diagnostic workup. I made an appointment with the service dept. where the technician spent a good amount of time going over the vehicle.  We then took a test drive where he explained how the system worked. The tech said that this vehicle’s blind spot kicks in after it reaches 30 miles according to the training video. He went on t say, in addition you have to press the blue blind spot logo to activate the system. I  took the vehicle to the Nissan service.  Since driving this Nissan Rogue another problem occurred that complicates all of the other issues above. That is this dangerous rear lift gate. Let me be clear, I’m a disabled veteran and all of these safety components are extremely important to my family. I can’t afford to worry or be hit again by this lift gate. This lift gate has hit me twice which organizing my belongs in this new SUV. Whenever your working near the rear bumper the rear lift gate is likely to come down! I’m back from the Holidays and this vehicle is going back to the Nissan service Dept again. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
