AIR BAGS

BENTLEY IS RECALLING 4 MY 2004 AND 2006 CONTINENTAL GT AND CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR VEHICLES. THE REPLACEMENT AIR BAG TRIMMED COVERS HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH TETHERS OF AN INCORRECT LENGTH.

Risk: IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THIS COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE AIR BAG ITSELF DURING DEPLOYMENT INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE PASSENGER'S AIR BAG COVER FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 11, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BENTLEY AT 1-800-777-6923.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

BENTLEY IS RECALLING 13,420 MY 2004-2008 CONTINENTAL GT, CONTINENTAL GT SPEED, CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR, AND CONTINENTAL GTC VEHICLES. Risk: A FUEL LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER AND REPOSITION THE RETAINING CLIP ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 18, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BENTLEY AT 1-800-777-6923.

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE BETWEEN A BRAKE PIPE AND AN ENGINE MOUNTED HOSE CLIP, WHICH COULD EVENTUALLY RESULT IN FAILURE OF THE BRAKE PIPE.

Risk: THIS FAILURE COULD RESULT IN AN INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCE WHEN BRAKING INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH AND ALSO A RISK OF FIRE DUE TO BRAKE FLUID ESCAPING INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.

Bentley Motors, Inc. (Bentley) is recalling certain 2026 Continental GT and Continental GTC vehicles. The front axles may have been assembled with an incorrect shorter driveshaft, which can cause the hub securing nut to loosen over time.

Risk: A loose hub securing nut can cause vibration and a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
