I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe on March 8, 2026, in [XXX] . After the sale, I discovered that the vehicle has serious undisclosed safety defects, including evidence that the airbag (Supplemental Restraint System) had previously deployed and was not properly repaired or restored to working condition, and were actually cut and removed from the vehicle and glued and covered up. This defect was not disclosed prior to purchase and represents a significant safety hazard. It is available for inspection. This put my safety and others at risk because if I had not noticed that the airbag system was not working and was removed and if I had been in a wreck who knows the injuries that me or somebody else could have sustained. The problem has not been confirmed or reproduced by anybody other than me I have physical documentation pictures and diagnostic reports showing the issue. The vehicle has not been inspected by police manufacturer or insurance as of yet but will be completed in the very near future. There was an airbag warning light on on the dash of the vehicle when I purchased it my assumption that it was just an error or a warning since I knew that the vehicle had been in a minor incident but I would’ve never thought that all of the airbags would’ve been cut out and hidden in the vehicle. Through my own investigation, I also located what appears to be the seller’s Facebook Marketplace account, where he has dozens of vehicles listed under a personal profile. This suggests he may be operating as an unlicensed vehicle dealer (curbstoning) and potentially selling multiple vehicles with undisclosed defects. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly by sending a formal demand letter and allowing time for response, but the seller has failed to respond or offer any resolution and has ceased communication. I have documentation and evidence including photos, videos, messages, and screenshots of vehicle listings that support these claims. Hello, I has problems driving my car like by brakes braking out of nowhere. There was even a couple times I felt like the car swerved, even though I did not do anything to the steering wheel. Then I found out I had a recall that said not to drive the car because it was dangerous so I parked it in my driveway and I have not driven it for many months as I’ve been getting rental cars. Eventually, I brought it into Antelope Valley Chevrolet and they told me they were going to fix it but then they actually told me that I had to pay around $1000 for a part that I found out later only cost under $100 and takes three minutes to put in. This is apart from Chevrolet and not some knock off from China that I found for under $100 online. So I’m a little upset that I came in for a recall and they’re trying to get me to do a repair for almost $2000. They never even offered me a rental car and they’re threatening me saying that if we don’t move forward with it, they’re gonna charge me $50 a day for storage. I feel like they’re intimidating me to try to make me traded in for a new one, but I am not ready to get a new one. I just want to get my car on the road again.

We were traveling in the third lane at approximately 70–74 mph when the vehicle abruptly lost power and rapidly slowed down to approximately 15–25 mph. This occurred in active traffic and created an immediate and severe safety hazard. The sudden loss of speed nearly caused a collision with surrounding vehicles traveling at highway speeds. There were five occupants in the vehicle, including three children. Due to traffic conditions, other drivers were braking, honking, and swerving. I was only able to avoid a crash by immediately maneuvering across lanes to reach the shoulder. The vehicle was disabled and had to be towed. The transmission required full replacement. Total repair cost exceeded $6,000, and the vehicle was out of service for approximately two weeks. I am submitting the repair receipt from the transmission shop with this complaint. After the failure, I learned that sudden transmission failure is a commonly reported issue with Chevrolet vehicles, including the Tahoe. This failure occurred without warning and represents a serious safety defect that put my family and other motorists at risk.

Air conditioning could cause a safety problem during hot days, forcing the driver to drive with all windows down and still remain very hot and sweaty while driving. The A/C system in this vehicle is so poorly designed that I've spent $6,000 in 8 years of ownership just to keep the A/C running. The primary problem is that is has a separate rear HVAC zone, which requires both high & low side freon lines to run under the length of the vehicle to a rear condenser. These lines are not shielded in any way from being hit by road debris. I'm replacing a leaking rear A/C for the third time at a cost of $1800. These lines should be shielded so they are not getting pelted by rocks and other debris. It's a very bad design that exposes a potential safety issue. When these lines break, it also dumps all of the freon into the atmosphere.

Summary: The straps on this car seat came loose with a firm pull with my baby already buckled in. Description: On Saturday April 5th, we place our baby in the Britax One4Life ClickTight All-In-One Car Seat. My husband had our baby fully buckled in with the straps tightened when for some reason (thank goodness he did), he gave the straps a pretty firm pull (not holding the strap release lever down) and they loosened up. We were very shocked that this could happen. I also tested it as well and had the same result. This concerning because with a forceful pull on the car seat straps, they came loose. If we had been in some sort of collision and were unaware of this issue, the force of an accident certainly would have loosened the straps which could have had a lethal outcome ever for a minor collision. Because we weren't sure why this was happening with this car seat. We ordered a new car seat from a different manufacturer due to this safety concern. On Monday April 7th I called Britax twice to see if I could get an answer as to why this may be happening. I could not get a live person so I left a voicemail. I also scheduled an appointment for a video call on Wednesday the 9th in an attempt to contact someone. I was able to speak with someone on Wednesday the 9th. The person I spoke with asked me to check if there was any debris under the button to release the strap. with her on the call, I shook the car seat upside down, and vacuumed under the release button. Once that was done, the straps did function again as expected, not loosening with a firm pull. The representative did mention that she had seen this issue before with something even as minor as sand getting stuck under the button. If you have kids, you know how impossible it is to keep car seats completely clean. The seats get dirty from kids being at parks, daycare, in their own back yard, eating snacks, etc.. I believe this is a design flaw of this car seat and it needs to be investigated for safety.

I bought my Tahoe from Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Savannah, GA with approx 58k miles. At around 88k miles I noticed the transmission hesitated when putting into reverse or drive from the park position. I had my transmission fluid changed at 70k and 100k miles. Now, at 112k miles, it has significantly gotten worse with shuddering between gears 1-3 and jerking when in reverse. Major hesitation when accelerating at any speed and high pitched whining noises that randomly happen, even after putting it in park and turning it off. Also, my ABS and Stabilitrak lights will illuminate and then go off every few days. As well as another random icon that randomly comes and goes. This Tahoe is now unsafe to drive but it’s the only transportation I have. I already missed a radiator replacement recall by 1,500 miles and had to pay for that out of pocket. Now Chevrolet isn’t recalling this transmission when it has over 190 complaints on this website alone, and thousands of others on other online forums. What will it take for the manufacturer to do the right thing? Will someone have to die in order for this to become an issue they stop ignoring? We have all spent money we worked hard to earn and deserve a vehicle that’s safe for our families.

Upon parking in the driveway after the trip my husband noticed a fuel smell coming from the rear driver side of vehicle. From all the vehicles that i have owned in the past, I have never received a bill this high for a part that has been proven to have failed in many vehicles manufactured by GM. I have a 2016 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. It has the air ride suspension. I need all new shocks and struts and a new air ride air suspension pump. Reported this issue when the vehicle had 60-66k miles on it. I was never told what was wrong until about 2 weeks ago. The grand total of replacing these issues is over 6k. I called Chevy/GMC theres nothing they will do as it’s out of any warranty even though the problem has been reported/documented way before it hit 84k. Jim Shorkey Chevy is a joke and Boby Rahal has no clue what warranty they’re selling people. This makes for a very loud, very rough ride that’s hard to control going any speed. There was also a valve that would squeak when it went from the V4 to the V8. In order to fix that i needed a whole new exhaust and muffler. Chevy would not cover any of this even though there is warranty for emissions through Chevy I can’t remember the year but i know the miles were 90k. I don’t have that on the car and for whatever reason an exhaust and muffler are not considered emissions even though if there was a hole or malfunction with them I wouldn’t pass the emissions here in PA. Make that make sense. All of these problem were reported within the year of buying this car back in 2020. I didn’t get a diagnosis for these problems until 2023 and 30k miles later. I did and still do have issues with the brake even though the vacuum pump was replaced back when I bought it. My antenna also leaked and I had to pay for that out of pocket. I’d love to stay with a gmc/Chevy but if I’m going to constantly have to pour money into it I’ll never go back.

The engine light comes on, the gauges move rapidly back and forth, a "Stabalink" error appears, the doors lock and unlock. We have turned into intersections when the vehicle has stalled in oncoming traffic. The vehicle has accelerated and decelerated spontaneously causing us to loose control. The issue started approximately one year ago. Approximately three months ago, we took the vehicle to a Chevrolet Service Center in Woodbridge, VA to have it inspected. We were advised they could not locate the problem and the vehicle was returned to us without any repairs. The problems with the vehicle have started to occur more frequently. We have stopped driving the vehicle because of concerns for our. While traveling a major highway (70 mph) over the holiday weekend, I experienced a loss of engine power. The RPM's went up to 5 while I decreased speed. I had gone from 75 MPH down to 35 while trying to maintain speed up a hill. I pulled over to the break down lane to let traffic pass and when it was safe, I tried to engage the vehicle to speed. It would slip gears and continue to lose momentum. The check engine light came on so I pulled it into a rest area and called for a tow. When the tow truck arrived and I needed to turn the car on to put it in neutral, the check engine light had turned off. After having it towed and a mechanic diagnose the issue, it was found that the transmission was blown. The transmission fluid is black and contains metal slivers. I had just had my transmission fluid checked during a tune-up. The fluid was changed at 70,000 miles. I have 113,000 miles on it now. The only warning I got just prior was a vibration similar to needing a front end alignment. There were no other warnings. Like I said, the fluid was checked a month prior to this incident.

Brand new parts failed at roughly 1K miles, there may be a quality control and/or design issue with lifters.

GM has a known problem with the sensors for the side detection system that are placed outside in the rear of the vehicle. Tires splash water and salt directly on the sensors causing them to short out. This short not only causes the side detection to misreport whether a vehicle is in your blind spot, it also manifests itself with lift gate malfunctions and various other messages displayed on the DIC like Service Park Assist System or Service Trailer Brake. My Tahoe has had all these issues. To date GM has not recalled my Tahoe or any other GM vehicle with this problem. The dealership quoted me $1,700 for the fix and are having trouble sourcing the new sensors since apparently I am not the only one affected. Howabout your agency looking into this and suggesting to GM to man up on this and cover the repair through a recall and a reimbursement for those who paid out of pocket.

This message pops up probably 60 times while I am driving, and continuously. It flashes across my screen, and when I dismiss it, it will go away for a second and then pop up again. This dinging message continues while I'm driving it. I feel that it is a safety hazard as I am very distracted by it when I am driving the car. I don't have any other choice, as I spent all my money I had for a car on purchasing this car, and don't have another car to drive, so I have to drive this one. I would really like for GM to issue a recall for this, and tell technicians how to fix this. The technicians I have seen tried replacing the battery and a corroded wire. We've replaced the switch, but still this message returns. I am very frustrated by this, as I traded my old car in for this one, because I was having car trouble. I have repeatedly experienced this situation even though I am acutely aware of the view obstruction created by the large A-pillar, air bag and drivers side mirror. It has become evident from the incidents in my neighborhood that trucks and SUV's are involved in the fatalities at crosswalks and multi lane roadways. An recent fatality occurred on December 10 2022 in Poway at the intersection of Midland and Edgmoore Rd. 35yr old women killed in crosswalk by driver making left turn. The January 24th 2022 fatality happened on Community Rd. in Poway 92064. It would appear your forms are incident focused and not geared to identify safety hazards that have not been considered. This complaint is with respect to the GM Infotainment System. While driving on the 405 freeway in Orange County, CA, the sound level of the infotainment system went to maximum. This being extremely painful, I tried to turn down the volume of the sound system. All controls were frozen and inoperative. I had to pull off the freeway and find a parking spot so I could turn off the engine for a short time to allow the electronics to reset. I had my wife and granddaughter with me. I have had this infotainment system freeze at other times such as using the navigation system, or the sound system. This could be a very dangerous condition while driving. I can imagine a driver being greatly distracted while attempting to deal with a problem such as this, or even a lesser problem. What is needed is a way to reset the electronics while driving. This could be a special button or pushing a pair of existing buttons. I consider this a very dangerous problem. I queried the dealership for a reset procedure but they had nothing to offer.

On 18 Apr 2022, my 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ was found to have a gas leak around the fuel tank area when the car was taken to the Chevrolet Service Center for an oil change. On that day, there was both a strong fuel smell and presence of a pool of raw gas. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. Additionally, I was not notified by GM/Chevrolet that this could be an issue. After inspection and diagnosis, the service technician found a "rubbed spot" on the the feed pipe and replaced it. He noted that he "made sure the new pipe is secured on tank as designed to prevent future occurrence". This vehicle is used as primary transport for my family. The fact that it leaked gas while I was driving put my family's safety at risk. I also believe that other owners and their families could be at risk. After researching the problem, I have found several posts from other owners and a service bulletin that describes the issue and the service procedures to fix it. I believe there should be a recall for this well-known major safety issue. I have emailed GM/Chevrolet's customer service department and provide them with details of my complaints and supporting documentation also attached in this compliant form. The items are: 1. My service invoice 799356 dated 20 Apr 2022. 2. Picture of the pin hole on the defective fuel feed pipe removed from my vehicle. 3. Service Bulletin 17-NA-304, dated February 2020 which provides guidance to professional technicians on the issue(s) and service procedures to fix it. The first edition of this bulletin was released in September 2017 which is after I purchased my 2016 Tahoe. 4. Several forum posts from other Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban owners who have experienced the same major safety issue.

I was driving on the 405 freeway, passing through Orange,, County, CA. While adjusting the sound level of the radio, part of the Infotainment system, the volume jumped to maximum level. These automobiles have superior sound systems and the sound was at a painful level. Nothing that I could touch had any effect on the sound level. Also in the car was my wife and a young granddaughter who started crying. So I had to exit the freeway and find a parking place where I could stop the engine and allow the Infotainment system reset and I could then select a normal volume. This could have been the cause of an accident because all of my attention was turned to the electronics. Freezes and non operation of the other features of these electronics has also occurred which causes the driver to turn his attention to getting things working again. What is severely needed is a way to easily reset the electronics by the driver. This could be a simple button on the steering wheel or a combination of buttons that would safely reset the system back to normal while driving.

First sign of problem was Thursday night, 10/7/2021. When on an incline there is no brake vacuum assist, takes both feet and all the force I can apply to stop vehicle going very slow. On flat surface it feels different than normal, when applying brakes there is a feeling of rough resistance but the brakes do work almost as normal. I see there is a recall for brake assist pump that is fixed by software update. I have only owned this vehicle since July of this year. I have checked the NHTSA data base and it shows no non-repaired recalls. I do not know how to confirm if a recall notice was actually sent out on this vehicle. This is not a random occurrence, it started Thursday and has not stopped. I am afraid to drive this vehicle for fear of dying.

Even though these two vehicles are not listed in the lawsuit; the Tahoe 4wd has the same v8 engine as the Sierra, Escalade, and Silverado. This is a major safety issue . TODAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2020, TWO WEEKS LATER, THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN 30 MILES AFTER SITTING OVER NIGHT AND SAT FOR 8 HOURS. WITHIN 2 MILES OF DRIVING THE VEHICLE AFTER SITTING FOR THE 8 HOURS, THE VEHICLE WAS HAVING SEVERE PROBLEMS SHIFTING INTO THE APPROPRIATE GEAR AND THE RPM WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLE WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL AND EASILY COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO GO APPROXIMATELY 2 MORE MILES. AFTER THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP AT A RED LIGHT, I TRIED TO ACCELERATE AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT MOVE FORWARD. I HAD ALSO PURCHASED A PROTECTION PLAN WITH FINISHING TOUCH THAT THEY TALKED US INTO WHEN WE BOUGHT THE CAR ON THE PAINT AND INTERIOR. 3.5 YEARS INTO OWNERSHIP THE PAINT ON THE HOOD AND ROOF FADED. WE CONTACTED THE PROTECTION PLAN AND THEY WERE MORE THAN WILLING TO TAKE CARE OF. THEY SENT AN ADJUSTER OUT AND HE CLASSIFIED AS CLEAR COAT FAILURE. THEN THE RUN AROUND STARTED. I CONTACTED CHEVROLET AND I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP. WE TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TALKED WITH THE ASSISTANT MANAGER IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. HE BROUGHT OUT THE MANAGER AND HE CONFIRMED THAT IT WAS PAINT FAILURE. SO THEN THE DEALERSHIP GETS INVOLVED WITH CHEVROLET. THE FIRST CALL COMES BACK AND SAYS THEY WILL COVER 20%. I TOLD THEM THAT SOME ONE WAS GOING TO COVER THE REPAIRS AND IT WON'T BE ME. THEY SOLD ME A PROTECTION PLAN THROUGH FINISHING TOUCH FOR THE PAINT AND THE INTERIOR SO SOMEONE NEEDS TO COVER THE DAMAGE. AFTER A FEW DAYS I GET A CALL STATING THAT BETWEEN THE DEALERSHIP, CHEVROLET AND FINISHING TOUCH IT WOULD BE REPAIRED AT NO COST. NOW IT GETS BETTER. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE HOOD AND THE ROOF REPAINTED. AFTER A WEEK AT THE BODY SHOP THE CAR IS READY TO BE PICKED UP. WE WALK UP TO THE CAR AND IT IS ALL SHINY AND LOOKING GOOD. BUT THE COLOR DOESN'T MATCH. WE CALL THE SERVICE MANAGER OUT AND HE SAYS HE CAN'T SEE THE ISSUE. THE TAHOE IS A BROWNSTONE METALLIC AND THE HOOD IS MORE BRONZE THAN THE REST OF THE VEHICLE. HE TELLS ME HE CAN GET THE PAINT MANAGER TO COME SPEAK TO ME BECAUSE HE CAN'T SEE THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A OVERCAST DAY SO IT DOESN'T SHOW REALLY BRIGHT BUT MY HUSBAND AND I CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE. WHILE WE ARE WAITING FOR THE MANAGER FROM THE BODY SHOP TO ARRIVE WE WALK AROUND THE VEHICLE. AT 50K MILES THE DELAY IN ACCELERATION WAS FAR MORE NOTICEABLE. I WOULD ACCELERATE AND RPM WOULD GO UP TO 4,5 OR6 BEFORE CAR WOULD MOVE START TO MOVE. BROUGHT BACK TO DEALER, DID ROAD TEST WITH TECH AND HE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT SOMETHING DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT STATED HE WOULD HAVE TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST LOOK IT OVER. AFTER HAVING CAR FOR 2 WEEKS WE DID ANOTHER ROAD TEST WITH MASTER TECHNICIAN AND HE STATED HARD SHIFTING WAS NORMAL ACCELERATION FOR THIS TRUCK BECAUSE OF VARIABLE TRANSMISSION. HE SAID ULTIMATELY THERE ARE NO TROUBLE CODES SO CAR IS 100% FINE. AT 63,000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION GAVE OUT! I DROVE CAR ON HIGHWAY ABOUT 145 MILES WITH NO ISSUE, I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET WHEN I STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND WHEN I PRESSED ON ACCELERATOR CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. FINALLY AFTER A FEW SECONDS OF ENGINE REVVING CAR JERKED BACK AND ROLLED FORWARD SLIGHTLY. WAS ABLE TO DRIVE CAR INTO STRIP MALL PARKING LOT. IT USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN I'M BACKING UP OUT OF MY GARAGE, OR TRYING TO PARK AT A PARKING SPACE. I HAVE TO PRESS DOWN ON THE PEDAL HARD TO STOP, AT ONE TIME I HAD TO PUR IT IN NEUTRAL CAUSE I COULDN'T STOP. SO MUCH BOUNCE AND JARRING THAT THE CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE ON ANY ROUGH ROAD. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THE MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL SHOCKS AND STRUTS FAILED AND ARE FULLY EXTENDED. COST TO REPAIR OVER $3,000 FOR 4 SHOCKS/STRUTS. 2. MY FUEL INJECTION IS HORRIBLE AND HAS CAUSED ME TO LOSE MPG ON MY MILEAGE. IT HESITATES ON ACCELERATION AND WHEN IT SET ON CRUISE - BASICALLY ALL THE TIME LIKE ITS CHUGGING CONSTANTLY. 3. MY BRAKES HAVE BEEN RECALLED AND THE PRESSURE IS NOT CONSISTENT ON THE,. I AM A POLICE FLEET MANAGER THAT HAS AN ALL CHEVY TAHOE FLEET. IN OCTOBER 2019, I RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FOR CHEVY RECALL N192268490 AND EVERY VEHICLE IN THE FLEET WAS TAKEN IN FOR THE RECALL. THE RECALL WAS TO REPROGRAM THE BRAKES, SO BRAKING WOULD STILL BE POSSIBLE EVEN IF THE BRAKE BOOSTER FAILED. HOWEVER, THE RECALL DID NOT ADDRESS THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM, WHICH IS A FAULTY SECONDARY HYDRAULIC BRAKE ASSIST VACUUM PUMP. I WAS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE I HAD TWO TAHOES ALREADY HAVE A VACUUM BOOSTER FAILURE, WHICH RESULTED IN AN EXTREMELY HARD BRAKE PEDAL WHICH WOULD NOT STOP THE VEHICLE. THE PROBLEM ARISES DURING SLOW SPEED BRAKING, SUCH AS PARKING LOTS OR SLOW SPEED PATROL. LESS THAN A WEEK AFTER TAKING THE VEHICLES TO CHEVY FOR THE RECALL, AN OFFICER WAS MANEUVERING SLOWLY IN A PARKING LOT. THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED AN EXTREMELY HARD BRAKE PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP. THE OFFICER WAS ABLE TO TURN THE VEHICLE, BARELY AVOIDING A COLLISION. OBVIOUSLY, GM'S BAND-AID RECALL DOES NOT FIX OR EVEN OVERRIDE THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP, WHERE THE SERVICE PROVIDERS AGREED THE RECALL WAS A PLACEBO AND THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE VACUUM BOOSTER. AS PER A RECENT LETTER FROM GM, THEY HAVE GIVEN AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE VACUUM PUMP, FOR FREE REPLACEMENT. SO, OBVIOUSLY THEY KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM. THE LIABILITY PLACED ON MUNICIPALITIES, WHO HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO USE THEIR FLEET VEHICLES WITH KNOWN BRAKING ISSUES, IS AN UNFAIR BURDEN AND RISK. WHILE TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 65-70MPH (POSTED SPEED LIMIT OF 65) MY 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE SEEMED TO HAVE NO STEERING, SIMILAR TO HOW A STEERING WHEEL FEELS WHEN VEHICLE IS OFF, AS THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING OVER A KNOLL WITH A SLIGHT CURVE TO THE LEFT. THE ACCELERATOR WAS PRESSED TO CHECK TO SEE IF VEHICLE WAS IN FACT STILL RUNNING, WHICH IT WAS, BUT THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT MOVE. THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED AT WHICH TIME THE TAHOE DARTED LEFT INTO THE OTHER LANE WHERE ANOTHER VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING, CAUSING THAT VEHICLE TO HIT THE TAHOE IN THE DRIVERS SIDE BACK DOOR. THE TAHOE THEN CONTINUED BROADSIDE UNTIL IT BROKE FREE OF IMPACT WITH THE OTHER VEHICLE, AND TURNED BACKWARD INTO THE MEDIAN. THE TAHOE TRAVELLED BACKWARDS THRU THE MEDIAN FOR APPROXIMATELY 80FT AT WHICH TIME THE ACCELERATOR WAS PRESSED TO THE FLOOR IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP THE TAHOE OUT OF NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,400. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

WHEN DRIVING MY NEW 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE, I AM EXPERIENCING A BOOMING NOISE OVER BUMPS IN THE ROAD AND EXPERIENCING SEVERE PRESSURE AND PAIN IN MY EARS FROM SOME SORT OF PRESSURE CREATED IN THE VEHICLES CABIN. THE PAIN IS UNBEARABLE, I CANT DRIVE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES DUE TO THE PAIN IN MY EARS WHILE DRIVING.

MY 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE LTZ DISPLAYED "SERVICE FRONT CAMERA" WHEN I GOT INTO THE VEHICLE BUT DIDN'T EVEN START IT YET. ( SEE PIC) . I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY LOOKED AT IT AND TOLD ME YES ITS A KNOWN ISSUE BUT GM HAS NO REPAIR PROCEDURE YET FOR IT.THE VEHICLE HAS 89 MILES ON IT, HAVE ONLY HAD THE VEHICLE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. THE WINDSHIELD IS PERFECTLY CLEAN AND NO OBSTRUCTIONS OF THE FRONT CAMERA. THE DEALERSHIP SAID I WILL HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT UNTIL THEY HAVE A FIX FOR IT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE FRONT CAMERA RUNS MOST OF THE HIGHLY TOUTED SAFTEY FEATURES SUCH AS THE, FCA FORWARD COLLISION ALERT, LANE DEVIATION ALERT, EBS EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM, AND ON AND ON...... SO NOW THE $70K+ VEHICLE THAT WAS HYPED UP TO BE SOOO SAFE FOR MY FAMILY NOW HAS MOST OF THE SAFTEY FEATURES NON -FUNCTIONING AND GM KNEW ABOUT THIS AND STILL CONTINUES TO SELL THE VEHICLE AND WONT REPAIR. THERE ARE ALSO MANY OTHER ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THIS VEHICLE, BUT WILL NOTIFY IN DIFFERENT REPORT. THIS IS TERRIBLE FOR A VEHICLE OF THIS CALIBER. IM A LOYAL AND DEDICATED PAST TAHOE OWNER BUT THIS ONE MAY BE GOING BACK. IM APPALLED THAT GM IS LETTING VEHICLES CONTINUE TO BE SOLD WITH KNOWN SAFTEY ISSUES ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY JUST GOT CAUGHT WITH THE WHOLE IGNITION SWITCH FIASCO.
