VIN: [XXX] Recall data refreshed on Apr 18,2026 1Unrepaired Recalls associated with this VIN Oct 23,2025 Manufacturer Recall Number67C NHTSA Recall Number25V-720 Recall StatusRecall Incomplete, remedy not yet available Summary 4-13-2026 Is someone going to have to die because this vehicle is still on the road with a recall that could start a fire in the engine compartment that no one knows what causes it except that it has something to do with the radiator fans. This is a very serious situation. No one should be able to drive a vehicle with this kind of problem. This recall was issued several months ago, I think from October 2025. This van has a camper made in it by Thor Twist and sold by Camping World in Arkansas. We bought it to travel around the country we retire. What a nightmare. We have a granddaughter who lives with us and goes camping with us most of the time. We also have a handicapped daughter who also travels with us sometimes. She has never been able to walk. What if the van catches on fire while she is with us? My wife and I are in our mid [XXX] . We have been losing sleep thinking about this The people we bought it from said it’s not their responsibility, same as Thor Twist. They say it’s a chassis problem and we need to call Chrysler Corporation. I called the Chrysler Corporation the Dodge dealership near our location. Recall notice states “The remedy for this condition is not currently available. We can’t plan any vacation time due to this recall. We now have nightmares about traveling anywhere in this van. We paid over $100,000 for this van and cannot use it. We are requesting that we return the van and get all our money back. We have had nothing but problems with this van and worry about making any trips in it in the future. We have had it in the shop 4 times for recalls and several other times for malfunctioning issues. We were unable to use the van for weeks at a time. Let us return it please. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

On December 23, 2025, a 2023 RAM ProMaster 2500 Van used as a commercial fleet delivery vehicle in [XXX] suffered an engine compartment fire. The vehicle was declared a total loss by the insurance carrier. At the time of the fire, the vehicle was subject to open Safety Recall 25V-720 / Manufacturer Recall 67C, issued by FCA US LLC for a defective cooling fan module with premature bearing wear and inadequate fuse protection on the 400W fan circuit — the exact defect identified as a known fire risk. No remedy was available at the time of the incident. The interim recall notification letter had been received but the vehicle could not be repaired as FCA had not yet developed or made available a fix. The vehicle was inspected by insurance representatives and declared a total loss. No warning lamps or prior symptoms were observed before the fire occurred, consistent with NHTSA's own warning that affected vehicles may fail suddenly with no prior dashboard alert. The component believed to have failed is the cooling fan module. It is unknown whether the component remains available for inspection as the vehicle has been transferred to the insurance carrier as part of the total loss settlement. Office of Defects Investigation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE Washington, DC 20590 Re: Safety Defect Complaint — Ram ProMaster (2018–2025) — Cowl Water Intrusion into Engine Compartment To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report what I believe to be a serious, systemic, and unresolved design defect in the Ram ProMaster van, affecting model years 2018 through at least 2025. I am requesting that the Office of Defects Investigation open or expand a formal investigation into this matter. Nature of the Defect: The windshield cowl on the Ram ProMaster is designed in a manner that permits significant water intrusion directly into the engine compartment. Water enters through the cowl seam and surrounding gaps, bypassing any drainage system, and flows onto critical engine and electrical components including but not limited to: the serpentine belt and pulley system, the engine fuse box, transmission components, and wiring harnesses. I brought my vehicle to two separate authorized Ram dealerships. The second dealer confirmed — based on testing conducted on multiple ProMaster vans dating back to 2018 — that this water intrusion behavior is consistent across the model line. In other words, the dealer has effectively confirmed that this is not a defect isolated to my vehicle, but a design characteristic of the ProMaster platform itself. This confirmation does not reassure me. It alarms me. A design that has permitted consistent water intrusion onto safety-critical engine and electrical components across a major commercial vehicle platform for over a decade is not an acceptable engineering standard. Given the size and weight of these vehicles — many operated commercially and carrying passengers or heavy cargo — the consequences of power steering loss, electrical failure, or mechanical failure are severe. We have tried dealing with Stellantis as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
