Electrical System /Service Brakes /Forward Collision AvoidanceCRASH04/28/2026

Shortly after purchase, I observed damaged/torn underhood insulation and reported the condition to the selling dealership, with concern that the vehicle should be inspected for related issues. Prior to a crash incident, I experienced concerns involving braking-related behavior and advanced driver assistance features, including lane assist and object/collision warning functions. During the crash, while reacting to a roadway hazard, the vehicle swerved and struck a pole, and I did not experience warning or intervention from driver assistance features as expected. Following the incident, a diagnostic pre-scan identified multiple faults involving brake control, radar sensors, image processing, and communication systems. Since the incident, similar concerns have continued, including recurring braking/driver assistance concerns, and the issues remain unresolved. I am submitting this complaint due to concern that braking and advanced driver assistance systems may not have functioned as intended and may present an ongoing safety risk.

Power Train04/25/2026

I hear a sharp clicking noise when I make turns, indicating an issue with the CV joint. The car had this issue when I leased it brand new. I didn’t think much of the sound because I had previously had a routine maintenance checkup at Honda and they never mentioned any issues. Car had less than 15k miles on it. Upon researching, I realized that this is a potentially major issue with the vehicle, and could cause harm on the road in the even the front axle fails.

Unknown Or Other04/24/2026

After the latest recall update for the screens going blank. My infotainment screen now reboots every time I get in the car about a minute after I drive away using Android Auto.

Suspension04/23/2026

When I turn my car right, about 1 out of every 5-10 times, the suspension makes a pinging sound. After doing some research, I found that the pinging is caused by faulty CV joints.

Power Train04/22/2026

My 2024 Honda Prologue is experiencing ongoing drivetrain issues that include noise, vibration, clunking, and a binding sensation. These symptoms occur during turning, accelerating, and at low speeds. I brought the vehicle to the dealer, and they inspected it, but they told me there is no solution available yet and advised me to wait. The dealer has not replaced any parts, and the issue continues. At this time, I have not experienced loss of control or steering failure, but the symptoms are persistent and concerning. Based on widespread reports from other Prologue owners, this appears to be a developing pattern that may indicate a defect in the axle, driveshaft, CV joint, or related front‑end components. I am reporting this so NHTSA is aware of the issue and can investigate.

Suspension04/21/2026

While taking right or left turns after being at a stop, there is a clicking noise, caused by the CV joint. We have only had the vehicle one week and noticed it instantly.

Unknown Or Other04/21/2026

Cv axel clicking as I turn either direction

Suspension /Unknown Or Other04/20/2026

VEHICLE LEFT FRONT AXLE STARTED MAKING A LOUD CLICKING NOISE WHEN TURNING. WITHIN A FEW WEEKS IT HAS TURNED INTO A CRACKING NOISE, I NOTICED GREASE LEAKING FROM THE OUTER AXLE BOOT. VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY AND HAS 24K MILES. VEHICLE FEELS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AS THE FRONT AXLE APPEARS TO BE FAILING AND COULD CAUSE A CRASH AT HIGH HIGHWAY SPEEDS. VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT PENSKE ONTARIO HONDA. SERVICE DEPARTMENT CONTACTED ME AND SAID THAT THERE WAS NO FIX AT THIS POINT AND HONDA IS WORKING ON IT. I SHOWED THEM A PICK OF THE AXLE GREASE LEAKING AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE RIM. SO FAR HONDA WILL NOT REPLACE THE LEAKING AXLE WHICH APPEARS TO BE A MAJOR SAFTEY ISSUE...

Suspension /Power Train04/19/2026

On 04/15/2026, at approximately 13,130 miles, my 2024 Honda Prologue began making a loud, repetitive clicking, popping, and clunking noise from the front axle area. This mechanical noise is highly pronounced when turning sharply at low speeds, such as pulling out of a parking space or turning at an intersection. I took the vehicle to Delta Honda in Antioch, CA on 04/16/2026. They acknowledged the noise but refused to replace the part, citing Honda's guidance that this issue does not impact normal driving. I am filing this complaint because this is a severe safety defect. The CV joint is a critical drivetrain component, and these symptoms are classic indicators of premature mechanical failure. I am highly concerned that the CV axle could fail catastrophically while driving at higher speeds or in traffic. A structural failure of this component could result in a sudden loss of motive power, wheel lock-up, or a total loss of steering control, putting myself, my passengers, and other motorists at imminent risk of a crash. Honda's failure to provide a permanent, safe remedy for this widespread and known defect is unacceptable.

Steering /Suspension04/19/2026

Car wobbles back and forth uncontrollably while driving, and also makes clicking noises while driving.

RE: Unrepaired Recalls associated with this VIN [XXX] Feb 26,2026 Manufacturer Recall NumberXNK NHTSA Recall Number26V-112 My name is [XXX] , I lease a 2024 Honda Prologue. I received a recall and took my car to Crown Honda in St Petersburg, Fl to have it done. I’ve been there 4 times to have it done and it failed 3 of the 4 times. The 4th time, they only did a partial update and told me it was complete and are telling me if I want more it’s going to cost me. I discovered they did not perform the Recall update. The paperwork they gave me shows it has to be a USB update. I know from my experience and my background of decades in the computer technology business, that they have minimal experience in that field. I called Honda corporate and they told me it was my problem and to go to another dealer. I’m hoping you may be able to help me out and contact them to get my updates performed. My recall shows it is a serious matter. As of this date and your records confirm, the recall is still incomplete. Steering /Suspension /Power Train04/18/2026

I took delivery of my new 2024 Honda Prologue in 2024. After driving approximately 2,000 miles, I noticed a clicking noise coming from the front axle area, especially during low-speed turns and parking maneuvers. I first brought the vehicle to AutoNation Honda in Costa Mesa, California, the dealership where I purchased it. They inspected the vehicle and reported finding no issue, so no repairs were performed. As the noise continued and worsened over the following months, I took the vehicle to Jerry Seiner Honda in San Juan Capistrano, California. Their service department diagnosed the clicking noise as originating from both front axles. Both front axles were replaced on October 28, 2025, which initially resolved the problem. However, the identical clicking noise has now returned. As of April 18, 2026, the condition is present again and requires further repair. THIS CONDITION IS NOT SAFE. The vehicle is still under lease with 19 payments remaining. This appears to be a recurring issue with the 2024 Honda Prologue. See NHTSA complaint ID XXX (and related complaints) for numerous similar reports of front axle / CV joint clicking noises on this model.
