While driving, the steering can stick momentarily and cause a jerking of the steering wheel. When taking the vehicle to the Honda dealer, the recall for this issue only covers 23-25 cr-v vehicles and since there are no warning lights or codes for it, their recommendation is to drive the vehicle until it gets worse. The jerking of the wheel can cause loss of control and makes the vehicle a hazard.
I was driving along I-20/59 Northbound approaching Bessemer, Al near or between mile marker 102-104. Suddenly I heard a “pop” sound coming from behind me and noticed in my rear view mirror the rear windshield had a small hole in it. I had just merged into the far left passing lane when this occurred and then proceeded to merge to exit onto Exit 104 (McAshan Dr./ McCalla). As I continued to drive glass began to shatter and the hole expanded. I was initially startled and afraid because I didn’t know what was happening. Once I exited, I parked at the Flying J truck stop and exited the vehicle to further assess. I called my parents and then a Bessemer Police officer to file a report. I’m not certain if something hit my windshield, if this is the result of a manufacturing malfunction, or other unknown occurrence due to external factors.
Car lost power with catastrophic engine failure with no warning as I was turning into a busy intersection with oncoming traffic. Had it towed 3hrs to Southaven Honda.indicated it was a blown head gasket . They said it loosing power was warning sign. No warning lamps prior to the incident. The vehicle was in the dealership two weeks before and there was no indication from the dealership that I was low on coolant or it was degraded.
I am reporting a safety-related issue with the front radar sensor on my Honda CR-V 2026. The sensor is mounted in a location that appears to be easily accessible and insufficiently secured, making it highly vulnerable to theft. My vehicle was recently targeted, and the sensor was removed, resulting in loss of critical driver-assistance features such as collision mitigation braking and adaptive cruise control. This creates a significant safety risk, as the vehicle’s ability to detect and respond to hazards is compromised. Additionally, multiple vehicles in my neighborhood have experienced similar incidents, indicating a potential widespread defect rather than an isolated case. I believe this design exposes owners to both safety hazards and financial burden, and I request that this issue be investigated for possible recall or corrective action to improve the security and protection of the radar sensor.
Hood vibrates noticeably above 55-60 mph and during car wash drying. It is too obvious that it seems that at some point hood might be dislocated.
The cover of this car seat has only been cared for per the manufacturer instructions, and the warning labels on the sides are peeling, creating a choking hazard. Clek has issued a recall for Liing before for this specific issue, but is saying that my Liing is not included despite being manufactured after the recall. It appears the issue has not been resolved adequately.
The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while attempting to make a left or right turn, there was a dragging sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (STEERING); but the repair failed to fix the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure had occurred after the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 48,307.
Well driving down hwy 207 with no other vehicles in site my sunroof spontaneously exploded with no evidence of a rock in sight I did take pictures right afterwards the pictures showed the remaining glass
The contact owns a 2026 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while attempting to park the vehicle in a parking space with her foot on the brake pedal, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated over the curb and crashed into the brick wall of a convenience store. The contact stated that the failure occurred without warning. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. The brick wall of the store was damaged due to the impact of the vehicle. The contact was treated for pain in her neck and right shoulder by the paramedics at the scene; she was not transported to a hospital. A police report was filed. The vehicle was initially towed to an independent tow yard; however, the contact later picked it up. The vehicle had yet to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was given a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 1,100.
This is regarding the earlier recall where drivers can feel a clicking noise in steering wheel, I did my recall year ago and this issue is resurfacing again. I reported this to dealer this week and I was said they will replace the parts since it's under warranty. But I wanted to report this issue. Is there a permanent fix?
I have a Honda 2024 CRV Hybrid. After 18 Months the rear and front brake rotors went bad. I hear a metal screach on the car wheels without using the brages. Dealer Honda states that rotors are under warranty for the first 12 Months and charging $1480 to resurface front rotors and replace rear. He is attributing this to an excessive wear and tear due to high corrosive weather in Florida. He also added that even after replacing the rotors, it's not garatee the new ones will last longer than 12 months. The car has only 11000 Miles and has always been in a closed Garage. This should lead to change Honda's warranty to cover what is clearly a defect.
Steering seems to feel "sticky" while driving on highways straight. Steering wheel seems to stay in place until I tug just a little on wheel to bring the wheel to correct position
