Electrical System /Unknown Or Other04/28/2026

IOK Radio Module failure. Inhibits hands free calling, total loss of all audio including safety chimes, dropped emergency call capability, multiple software updates have failed to resolve it. Vehicle is still under warranty.

Exterior Lighting04/22/2026

Reverse lamps are not bright. Camera does not brighten area either. Very unsafe to reverse in the dark. Have to touch the brake pedal to be able to see while backing. Also have tried the LEDs in the mirrors while backing- although the LEDs are bright- lights to see while backing are insufficient on the stop lamps.

Structure04/15/2026

The same thing that happenes to the grill mold in recall N242490120 happened to my vehicle with the hood vent ornament. For reference, the Part number is 84802205/85057002. I was driving on the highway to work and it flew off which caused it to scrape my hood and chip my windshield.

Structure04/14/2026

The contact owns a 2025 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated that the front driver’s side door handle failed to operate as needed, and the contact was unable to exit the vehicle through the driver’s side door. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and a new handle was ordered. The part was replaced under warranty. Soon after the repair, the liftgate failed to open or close as needed and became inoperable. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer for the liftgate to be serviced under warranty. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle remained with the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was approximately 300.

Electrical System /Engine /Back Over Prevention04/10/2026

The contact owns a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated while reversing, the rear-view camera displayed a blank screen. The 4WD system engaged unintendedly, and the park assist sensor was inoperable while an unknown message was displayed. Additionally, the vehicle lost motive power while driving. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who replaced an unknown module and reset the computer, but the failure persisted. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer five times, but the failure recurred after several unknown repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact had requested for a buyback from the dealer, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.

Trailer Hitches03/27/2026

The contact owns a 2022 Safe Haven 12-foot Flatbed Trailer. The contact stated that while driving approximately 10 MPH and towing the unloaded trailer with a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500, while slowing down to make a right turn, the trailer detached from the tow hitch ball. The contact stated that there were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the aluminum arms on the hitch adjoined to the frame of the trailer was loose. The contact stated that because of the design of the hitch, the receiver that rests on the trailer hitch was not flush, and there was room for the trailer receiver to move up and down, causing the bolts to loosen. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that it was the normal of the bolts. The trailer was taken to an authorized dealer, and the contact was informed that the trailer was attached incorrectly. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,200. The VIN was not available.

Electrical System03/26/2026

Radio has zero sound - the issue is the radio sound also has the blinker sound, hands free safety/navigation guidance along with the On Star safety function. None of that is functional. The dealer states it's a known issue and parts are not available. How can this be when they keep building new units. GM has been contacted with zero help and no response around my safety concerns. While it seems like a small thing when we say radio I'm not concerned with the lack of music but this system controls way more than music.

Electrical System /Fuel/Propulsion System03/16/2026

The vehicle went into low power mode and said to pull over. As soon as that message appeared the next warning appeared and said to shift to neutral and pull over immediately and attempt to restart. The vehicle immediately shut off after second warning before having time to pull over from first message. I was able to pull most of the way off the road as the vehicle had shut off there was no power steering and had limited ability to steer the vehicle. This all happened without advance warning or any other warning that there was an issue while traveling at over 75mph. Vehicle would not restart and needed to be towed. Dealer stated it was a fule control module that was hard to get due to a recall. But that my vehicle was not part of that recall.

Engine03/15/2026

Oil cooler blew and mixed oil in coolant reservoir. Possibly causes overheating and engine seizure. This has been confirmed with a certified GM service center. The service center inspected fixed it then within 5 miles had to be returned to the dealer because it happened again.

Tires03/15/2026

Traveling on I-10 doing approx 75 mph head a loud boom and saw sparks coming from the read drivers side of the truck. Truck was riding a bit low on that side. Pulled over and determined the tire had blown up. Currently doing the insurance claim and repair as there was substantial damage to the truck. No crash or involvement by other motorists. Did not hit anything.

Electrical System03/10/2026

The contact owns a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated that on several occasions, after the vehicle had been parked for approximately two days, the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was jump-started and taken to a dealer three times, where it was diagnosed and determined that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired three times, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a complaint was filed. The failure mileage was 33,000.
