Vehicle Speed Control /Service Brakes04/19/2026

This is not a failed component, the issue is a design interaction issue. This truck when it gets stuck as it unfortunately very easily does even on wet grass goes into a traction control mode where the throttle is VERY damped but the issue is not only is the opening very dampened the closing is also VERY damped. This is made significantly worse by the fact that traction control cannot actually be disabled. There is a switch and it indicates it is disabled but the functionality remains the same. This combination means whenever you're working to get the truck unstuck, like yesterday when it was on wet grass you have to expect that the vehicle will suddenly accelerate as soon as it finds traction. normally you can counteract this by expecting to apply significant brakes as soon as it finds traction but if the front wheels are still on a slippery surface the ABS system will lose it's mind and essentially disable brakes as the vehicle accelerates violently backwards with the new found traction. This combination of software decisions makes it so you can very easily replicate an unintended acceleration scenario where the vehicle jumps back a solid 20' when this happens, not respecting any brake input given by the driver and certainly not respecting that the throttle was released long ago. The throttle closing should not be damped when traction control is running and the ABS system should not be behaving the way it does. I understand getting the vehicle unstuck from wet grass is not normal operation but that's what the traction control disable button should be for and Ford makes that button useless also. When taken together, all these engineering decisions make for a very unsafe situation that has zero reason to exist. I've attached pictures that show the overview of the situation as well as the characteristic ABS marks showing that it was disabling brakes.

Power Train04/18/2026

In tow/haul mode on even a slight downgrade while towing a 9000lb fifth wheel camper even the slightest application of brakes causes an extreme downshift from 10th to 4th at highway speeds of 60+ mph revving the engine to over 5000rpms and causing slight rear wheel lockup on dry roads. This could be fatal on even slightly damp roads. This occurred multiple times

I purchased 2, 2024 F350 Super Duty's for our Highway Dept. The camera systems on both trucks failed. This includes the backup camera and forward facing camera. I found a recall notice (24S66) for this exact problem affecting 2024 F350's. I brought mine to the dealership and was informed that my VIN was not included in the recall. The repair would cost $1,200. A check of the second trucks VIN was not included either. I will be filing another report for that truck as well. Steering04/10/2026

2022 F350 SRW, King Ranch, Tremor Steering column began making clunking sound when hitting rough patches on highway. I then noticed that I was able to lift the steering wheel an inch or two up and also pull it towards me two to three inches and freely push it back in. I could wobble the steering wheel side to side as well. Felt very unsafe as I was on a 7 hour trip home. No warning lights or incident that contributed to problem

The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer stated that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

Front facing camera, located in front grill, has inadequate water proofing, which eventually shorts out the camera and causing it to become inoperable. This creates a blind spot when backing up or driving in tight spaces with such a large truck. When the front camera blacks out, you lose visibility in front of the vehicle. This is a safety issue, because the size of the truck, how high it sits from the factory, and no visibility over the hood could cause a collision with low height persons or kids or property. Yes, this issue has been reproduced by the dealer. And there are numerous reports of people on message forums and social media complaining of this issue. There were no warnings of this prior to failure. One day the front facing camera simply stopped working, leaving a black screen for any camera views that include the front camera.

Unknown Or Other04/08/2026

Glass roof panel behind sunroof (over rear seats of crew cab) shattered while driving on the highway at 5:30am with no other vehicles within several hundred yards. No sign of impact, remaining glass seems to be pushed outward.

Electrical System /Forward Collision AvoidanceCRASH04/06/2026

When putting truck in reverse the rear cameras pop on the 12 inch screen, as I was backing up the screen flashed couple times and froze. Not knowing with no beeping, no real time video or even the collision control braking did not work causing me to back into a concrete light post causing damage to the rear bumper and side panel. This has flickered couple times before but not like this. The truck only has 2502 miles on it.

Seats04/01/2026

Here’s a clean, strong NHTSA synopsis that sticks to their rules (no personal info, clear safety framing, and specific details): --- **What happened:** The heated seat system in a 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty Platinum exhibited excessive and uneven heat output in both the driver and passenger seats. While in use, the seat heaters produced a burning sensation at the skin level for both occupants, requiring the heaters to be turned off to avoid injury. The condition appears to involve the seat heating element and/or temperature regulation system. During a subsequent seat cover replacement, the heating element was exposed and showed visible signs of localized overheating, including distinct heat concentration patterns and degradation of the surrounding foam material. The component is available for inspection upon request. This condition presents a safety risk due to the potential for skin burns during normal operation. It also raises concern about possible overheating of seat materials if the system remains active for extended periods, such as during remote start or unattended operation, which could increase the risk of material damage or combustion. The issue was experienced multiple times and is not isolated to a single seating position. The problem has been visually confirmed by an installer during disassembly of the seat, though it is unknown if a dealer has formally documented the condition at this time. There were no warning lights, messages, or prior indicators before the excessive heat condition occurred.

Steering03/23/2026

The truck has a clunk in the steering when pulling trailers and does not do this when not laden. The vehicle has only 2,480 miles on it. I was told at the dealership that this will not be fixed because they are not able to replicate the issue. There is a TSB on the issue: SSM 53169 2023-2024 F-Super Duty - Popping/Thumping/Clunking/Knocking Noise From The Steering Column - Built On Or Before 12-Jul-2024 The vehicle was built prior to 12-Jul-2024.

Unknown Or Other /Engine03/23/2026

Vehicle has gone into LIMP mode multiple times. Was driving the vehicle and the check engine light went on and the vehicle reduced its speed to 25 mph. This is very dangerous because the traffic was moving at 70 mph and could have rear ended me. The F350 has been at the dealership since March 18. The dealer has diagnosed it but claim they cannot get the part they need to fix it. They insist I return the loaner and drive the F350 home with the problem.
