Engine /Fuel/Propulsion System04/27/2026

Noticed fuel smell in passenger cabin. Had vehicle towed to Ford dealership. Dealership refused to repair because Ford said parts aren't available. Gasoline odor still prevalent. Took vehicle to independent shop on 4/27 and mechanic found substantial leak pooling near injector #1. So, the software update which is supposed to identify a fuel leak and put vehicle into limp mode and eventually shut down the engine. Independent shop sourced replacement parts and performed the repair as the mechanic said it was a safety hazard which could cause a fire as noted in the outstanding recall. From NHTSA database: Manufacturer Safety recall issued NHTSA: #25V467 Recall: #25S76 POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE PCM SOFTWARE UPDATE Status: Remedy Not Yet Available

Air BagsCRASH1 INJURY04/27/2026

I was at a complete stop and a car rear ended me going 45 MPH. The airbags did NOT go off. Causing me to hit my head on the steering wheel. The car then gave warning on the Ford app saying " Your air bag warning is on due to an issue with the front passenger air bag system. The front passenger airbag may not work properly." Another notification says " Your air ab warning is on because the system has detected a crash." The police and paramedics at the scene where very shocked that the airbags did not deploy. I was taken to the ER by ambulance due to this. Please look into it, I would hate for someone to get hurt or killed due to this issue.

Power Train04/27/2026

2023 Bronco Sport had its serpentine belt replaced in February of 2026 because it was loose causing my engine to overheat. I had to have it towed because I was sitting on the side of the road. Then in April of 2026 the Bronco started making horrible loud clanging sounds and jerking when it was put in gear. Towed again to the shop. Now I am told this 3 year old car needs a new transmission. Doing research i have found that several Bronco owners have the same problem. Why does Ford not have a recall for this!! My mechanic was looking for a rebuilt one and can't find one because the demand for them is higher than what the supply is. This should tell you something!!

Driving on [XXX] . I smelled gasoline. My entire car smelled of it. Next I got a notification to service my vehicle soon. I immediately pulled over and called two Ford dealerships. Downers Grove and Naperville. Neither helped. I located I was close to a dealership. I went there. This is where I learned that underneath my car, wires had caught fire. Steering /Suspension /Unknown Or Other04/23/2026

Clonninger Auto Body Shop 511 Jake Alexander Blvd S Salisbury NC 28147 The 2024 Bronco Sport owned by Megan Michaels was presented to our service department with a customer concern of a rattling noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, along with abnormal tire wear on the rear tires. Our Master Technician performed a road test and verified a clunking/rattling noise originating from the left rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was then lifted, and a comprehensive inspection of the rear suspension system was completed. During inspection, it was determined that the left rear lower control arm mounting point at the body has structurally failed. The mounting location where the control arm attaches to the body has separated from the vehicle’s floor structure, allowing the control arm to shift from its proper position into the body cavity where it should normally be securely supported. This condition has caused:  Excessive movement within the rear suspension system  The confirmed clunking/rattling noise  Abnormal rear tire wear due to improper alignment and instability Cause of Failure: The failure is the result of a structural separation of the lower control arm mounting point from the vehicle’s body. This is a failure of the vehicle’s structural floor assembly and is not related to a replaceable suspension component. Required Repair: Due to the extent of the structural damage, the vehicle will require replacement of the complete floor pan assembly in order to restore proper mounting integrity of the suspension system and ensure safe vehicle operation. If you have any questions or require additional documentation, please contact our service department directly.

Electrical System /Engine /Fuel/Propulsion System04/22/2026

My 2024 Ford Bronco Sport has had an open unrepaired safety recall (Ford 25S76 / NHTSA 25V467) for about 10 months. The recall states that a fuel injector may crack and create an under-hood fire risk. There is still no repair remedy available. Ford and the dealership have stated that they are trying to develop a solution until June 2026. This effectively means I am being told to continue driving a vehicle with a known fire risk for an unknown extended period of time. For the past 10 months, I have been driving this vehicle in fear. I use it every day to take my children to school, transport my family, and handle family responsibilities. I cannot afford to purchase another vehicle because I invested most of my money into this one. The dealership has not provided me with a clear solution or completed any repair related to this recall. I have also faced nearly $4,000 in mechanical repair costs on a vehicle with about 59,000 miles. I no longer feel safe or confident owning this vehicle. I am concerned that a fire could happen while driving or while parked, putting my family and surrounding property at risk.

Electrical System /Engine /Fuel/Propulsion System04/17/2026

I need to open a safety case for my vehicle. I am concerned with my vehicle. Car was having trouble starting on 4/16/2026 while parked at home giving a "full accessory power active" error. I called Ford and I was told it could be a battery issue. Triple A was called and help was dispatched. The Triple A representative did not jump start the battery and instead gave directions to power up the car back up with no electrical current necessary. Car started after trouble shooting it and it was tested through the night just like Triple A directed. The following day on 4/17/26 the car had no issue starting and all was normal. While testing the vehicle it started to produce a strong burning rubbery smell. I opened the hood and there was a leaking sound followed by a light smoke and leakage near the battery. A video was taken if needed. The smell was extremelly strong and I am reporting this safety concern as the VIN associated with the vehicle currently has an unrepaired recall with no available remedy yet by FORD - 25V467. The safety risk associated with this recall number is fire under hood due to possible injector crack that could lead to fuel accumulating on top of the engine. I want this issue recorded as I am concerned with the safety of my family.

Latches/Locks/Linkages04/16/2026

The contact rented a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30-35 MPH, the hood flew open, struck and cracked the windshield, completely obstructing the driver's visibility. The contact pulled over to the curb and then into a parking lot. The contact stated that he was disabled, and that the failure was significantly frightening. The contact was shaking for 30 minutes after the failure. The contact stated that the vehicle was a replacement rental vehicle that the car rental company had provided after the initial rental vehicle shuddered and stalled while driving. The vehicle was towed to Enterprise Rental Car. No further information was available. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was unknown.

Tires04/15/2026

225/65 R 17 A small sliver of wood Punctured the sidewall which is unbelievable that a tire would be that weak from what appears to be a blunt puncture on a Ford Bronco Sport made for all kinds of off and on road driving conditions and something as small as a flattened tooth pick would be sufficient as a safe tire. Looking at continental tires track record with sidewall rubber structural issues I suspect this is another defect and should be investigated and recalled before causing property damage ,serious injury or death due to sidewall issues .

Unknown Or Other /Service Brakes04/14/2026

I have brought the car in both to Marin Ford and Serramonte Ford for a transmission fluid leak. They have confirmed there is transmission fluid pooling under the hood but are either unable or unwilling to repair the source of the leak. Car is still under warranty - hoping they are not waiting for the warranty to expire and for my the car to start failing. The brakes also make a loud whining noise while driving in reverse on my 2022 Bronco Sport. The people at Serramonte Ford in Colma, CA tell me this is standard for Ford Broncos and Escape and there is not a fix. It sounds like a whale call and hard to believe the issue can't be resolved. I have read other complaints saying the saying the same thing and Ford charging 1k once out of warranty to replace pads, etc.
