Driver Information Centre (DIC) and Infotainment go dark. This has happened twice now over the last 2 months. While driving suddenly the infotainment goes blank and loses the radio and then the DIC follows by going blank (dark). So I was left with no speed indication. The car drives normally during that time. After 30 seconds to a minute the screens come back on as if it rebooted while driving.
The front camera lens cover — located in the grille below the Chevy bowtie logo — has developed a spiderwebbed/shattered crack pattern. There is no impact damage to the surrounding grille or bodywork. The vehicle was garaged and not in use when the damage was discovered. The camera appears to still be working and parts of the image are crystal clear but the cracks in the cover distort the picture and make it impossible to use reliably. This is consistent with a material defect, not road damage. I have opened a case with GM Customer Care regarding this defect. My case number is: XXX. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
My engine coolant temperature sensor failed. Replaced it and still not fixing the issue. This takes my steering assist away as they are all interlinked? I have seen on forms this is a common issue. This has the potential to blow up my engine, I’m not sure how this is not a recall with so many 2020-2026 blazer owners having the same issue.
My vehicle makes a clunk noise when the vehicle is in motion and i press on the accelerator it also makes a little jerk. This mainly happens @ low speeds and on a incline hill. There some type of oil or grease stains where the cv axle goes into transmission. ive felt my vehicle with less power and pulls to the left. Took the vehicle to chevrolet and they said they couldnt duplicate the issue or the oil leak.
Rear brake automatic parking brake motor locked rear wheels. Dealership diagnosed and repaired at my cost. Service parking brake light illuminated and rear brakes locked not allowing vehicle to be moved. After a few restarts brakes released.
My Drive Assist stopped working. Then my Air conditioning stopped blowing cold. Then the temperature gauge stopped working. Upon turning the car off the fan continued to run for several minutes. Took to repair shop where it required a new thermostat housing, coolant temp sensor and coolant flush. The total cost for repair was $1,131.52. The car has 37,000 miles on it. Barely out of warranty. This is a well-known issue among Chevy owners.
2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV AWD purchased 5/23/25 (under 3,100 miles) The vehicle's Telematics Control Module (TCM) has failed, disabling the built-in navigation system, OnStar services, remote start, and My Chevrolet app connectivity. The dealership confirmed the TCM needs replacement and the part is on backorder with no ETA. This is a known issue affecting this model. I am reporting this as a safety defect for the following reasons: The 2025 Blazer EV does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. With the built-in navigation disabled, the only way to navigate is by using a phone, which requires visual attention to a separate small screen while driving. Under Pennsylvania's hands-free law (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3316.1), use of handheld devices while driving is a primary offense, making phone-based navigation both unsafe and legally problematic. On at least one occasion, the navigation system appeared to be functioning normally at the start of a trip but was providing materially inaccurate directions mid-route (e.g., instructing me to turn onto a road I had already been traveling on for miles). A system that displays as operational while delivering incorrect routing data is dangerous because the driver has no way to assess its reliability before departing. GM's EV Concierge characterized the loss of navigation as a non-safety feature issue and suggested using a phone holder. This response is inadequate given the vehicle's lack of CarPlay integration, which makes the built-in navigation the only safe, integrated means of route guidance. This vehicle has also required three prior unrelated warranty repairs in 10 months: a recall for a faulty rear parking brake harness (9/25), a 12V battery failure requiring flatbed towing (11/25), and a faulty tire pressure monitor (12/25). The pattern of recurring failures across unrelated systems at minimal mileage indicates a systemic quality issue with this vehicle.
The vehicle accelerated without input and the brakes failed to respond. I am notifying you that this vehicle is a life-threatening safety risk and should not be rented again until a master technician clears the electronic throttle control and breaking system. This condition presents a serious safety risk and could lead to a car crash or injury. Additionally, the vehicles, climate control system behaved erratically, alternating between extremely hot and extremely cold air without adjustment. This may indicate a broader electronic or system malfunction affecting vehicle city.
The onstar module is broken and on significant backorder. Without it, standard features in my car such as GPS, onstar safety, remote control, and other features do not work.
There is a defect in the motorized electric charge port door. When you press the button it rarely works to open the charge port door leaving me with unable to charge my vehicle. I fear this will leave me stranded and my only course of action will be to rip the door off in anger. Many others are experiencing this issue. Chevy needs to address this.
I was driving to work as I normally do and work is only 15 miles away from home I get to work turn into the parking lot stop to scan my badge and I hear knocking noise I thought it was coming from the truck in front of me but after he moved on I still heard the noise and I found a parking spot as soon as I could and the engine light on the dash came on and the motor that was knocking is definitely my Blazer with only 11,222 miles on it. I always keep up on my vehicles maintenance in fact I just had the oil changed at Ray Skillman Gm Dealership2/16/26 it had 10,960 miles on it. Before that I had the oil changed at Ray Skillman 08/20/25 it had 7,720 miles on it then and before that. The very first oil change 22/ may /25 the mileage was 5,354 on it was at Hare Chevrolet where I purchased this Blazer RS Brand new it had 34 miles I always get the oil changed when it gets to 25%
On 10/29/25 I brought the vehicle in to Richard Lucas Chevrolet due to the alert from my insurance co that there was a recall with parking brake system. The dealership checked the car and told me they had to order the part that was needed due to the recall. Prior I also made the dealer aware that the car had recently stalled on me in the middle of the street, I was told by the dealership that this was apart of the recall! The dealership allowed me to drive the car and stated to me that they would call me when the part comes in! 2 days later on 11/1/25 while driving the car lost control, the brakes wouldn't stop and I crashed into 2 parked cars and landed on top of the second parked car which was a pickup truck! All of the airbags deployed and my body is pretty messed up from this horrific crash and this has caused fear in me of driving!
